SPOTLIGHT ON NUTRITION
Our bodies undergo stress everyday. It can be physical, mental or emotional.
No matter the source, it has an effect on our systems.
The balancing act that goes on everyday internally is remarkable!
It makes multi-tasking seem like simple addition.
Many times when good nutrition is most essential, it is hard to
find the time or energy to make it a priority.
The
long-term effects of nutritional deficiencies and stress present in a
variety of ways….
bones=osteoporosis
thyroid/adrenal
glands=infertility/moodiness
digestive
system=constipation/irregularity
thyroid=weight
gain
pancreas=diabetes
immune system=allergies/frequent colds
These
are just to name a few.
It has not been proven that stress and nutrition are the only
culprits in these conditions; however, they play a big role!
I
sought treatment from you after a trusted friend recommended
that I see you.
I
was used to a life of activity including dance and some sports,
gardening and chasing three children. But at the young age of
48, I found myself losing agility, avoiding walking and standing
and taking many over the counter pain medications to relieve
constant hip pain. I was avoiding many activities because I
feared the aching repercussions.
I
knew I was at the right place for treatment immediately! Not
only were you warm and receptive, but your friendly wife and
children were part of your office staff and I felt at home right
off. I knew you were a trusted Doctor and a man that placed his
family first so you therefore understood how I had to regain my
strength and mobility for MY active family. My children were
welcomed in your office during my 3x week visits which is the
only way I could ever had made appointments.
Within
two weeks of treatment, I was able to stop taking ibuprofen. I
felt improvement in strength and agility and I am still working
on it.
Today,
I am so proud to report that with your care, I am pain free. A
little stiff, but no pain!
Last
Saturday, I went on a five mile, in the snow, hike with the Boy
Scouts to Great Falls Park. Mostly uphill! I also got on
horseback in November and went sleigh riding with the kids last
week! There were all activities I only would have wished to do a
year ago but would never have attempted them.
Thanks
a million Dr. Andy! I feel 25 again!
